And we know that all things work together for good (But only if certain conditions are met) to them who love God (the First Condition), to them who are the called according to His purpose (this means it’s His Purpose, and not ours,” which is the second condition; otherwise, all things will not work together for our good).
I have heard this scripture quoted my entire life. Sometimes, I have even felt in certain circumstances it could not be true. After all, how could rejection, ridicule or even death work to something good? Good question. I recently read a commentary which I inserted in the scripture above. ALL things can work together, but when certain conditions are met. The first one we must love God - Secondly, the purpose belongs to GOD; it must be what GOD has for our life and not our own selfish desires. When we are line up with the Lord, loving and trusting HIM, we CAN know that ALL things WILL work together for our good. List below are 43 cross reference scriptures. This is so encouraging to me, I love the word of GOD. It will do a work in our life. Enjoy!
